School Meals

School dinners are currently cooked on the school premises and are provided by Catering Academy who are an independent company, they are able to provide hot and packed lunch options that are all freshly prepared on site.

School meals meet all the latest Government Nutritional Standards.
Salad, fresh fruit and hot vegetables are available with every meal.
Chilled water, semi-skimmed milk and fruit juices are always available.
Puddings contain healthy ingredients like fruit and oats.

Reception, Years 1 & 2

From September all children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 will all receive a free school dinner or a school packed lunch, as part of the Government’s new initiative. If you do not wish your child to partake in this then please inform the school office.

Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Children can have a school dinner at a cost of £2.20 per day, £11 per week. Please note dinner money must be paid in advance, if payments are not kept up to date you will have to send a packed lunch in with your child/ren. If you qualify for free school meals please apply on line to Coventry City Council or call into the school office for further information.

We do require a full weeks notice if you would like your child(ren) to change to dinners or sandwiches.

Packed Lunches

We do encourage parents to send children to school with a healthy packed lunch and a drink (we do not allow fizzy pop). Please click on the link below for healthy lunchbox ideas. All lunchboxes should have your child(ren) name and class clearly displayed.

The Pupil Premium Grant

If you think your child may be eligible for free school meals please contact the school office, all enquiries are dealt with in the strictest of confidence even if you do not wish your child to have a school dinner you should claim as it can enhance learning.  For further information about applying for free school meals, please click here:
