Ravensdale Primary School – Nursery

The nursery provision caters for children that are aged 3 to 4 years old. The children have to be 3 years old by 31st August to qualify for Nursery. Details of the school’s admission criteria are available from the school office. Each child is entitled to 15 hours free government funding per week during term time.

We offer a 52 place nursery comprising of 26 places in the morning and 26 places in the afternoon. The times being 8.45am – 11.45am and 12.15pm to 3.15pm. We are also able to offer an all day facility where parents can either pay for the additional hours or claim for the 30 hours funding entitlement.

The nursery follow the ‘Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum’.

In order to register your child please contact the school office once your child has had their second birthday and nearer the time the school will send you an application pack to complete.

How to Apply

If your child will be 3 years old by the 31st August 2019, please register your child with the school office. Application packs to apply for a place for September 2019 are now available to collect or download, please return completed packs to the school office by no later than Friday, 15th March 2019 and spaces will be allocated shortly after Easter.  If you require any additional information, please contact the school office on 02476 444966.
