Ravensdale Primary School – Nursery

The nursery provision caters for children that are aged 3 to 4 years old. The children have to be 3 years old by 31st August to qualify for Nursery. Details of the school’s admission criteria are available from the school office. Each child is entitled to 15 hours free government funding per week during term time.

We offer a 52 place nursery comprising of 26 places in the morning and 26 places in the afternoon. The times being 8.45am – 11.45am and 12.15pm to 3.15pm. We are also able to offer an all day facility where parents can either pay for the additional hours or claim for the 30 hours funding entitlement.

The nursery follow the ‘Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum’.

In order to register your child please contact the school office once your child has had their second birthday and nearer the time the school will send you an application pack to complete.

From the Summer 2020 term we have implemented a 3 point admission entry.  This will enable the opportunity for a child to join the Nursery the term after their third birthday if we have any remaining places, these will be allocated as per the admission criteria which includes birth month order.

How to Apply for a place in Nursery for September 2020 (This current school year).

If you have a child that was 3 years old by the 31st August 2020.  Please collect an application pack from the school office and we can then discuss availability.

For a Nursery place from September 2021

The application packs will not be available until February 2021 and parents will be notified either before or after the Easter Break (April 2021).  The previous packs relating to our September 2020 intake are below for information purposes.
